Features include layers, dxf files import and export, many flexible drawing tools and precise selection tools. Qcad comunity edition professional#While other CAD packages get complicated to use and unclear, QCad tries to stay comfortable and even an absolute beginner can create professional drawings with a minimum of effort. Furthermore it offers support for the HPGL format. Compared to the Professional edition it has no scripting or poly-line support - also features are a few months behind. QCad uses DXF as its standard file format. Qcad comunity edition free#QCAD Community Edition is free and open source. QCAD is available in two versions: Community edition and Professional edition. AutoCAD DWG support is available as a commercial plugin. QCad uses the AutoCAD DXF file format internally and to save and import files. With QCAD you can create technical drawings such as plans for buildings, interiors, mechanical parts or schemas and diagrams. If we stick with working with sources whenever possible we have a chance the ebuild eventually makes it into mainline Gentoo.QCAD is an application for computer aided drafting in 2D. Binary packages go against the very concept of Gentoo - against what makes Gentoo so strong in some areas. Gentoo has in the past (and probably still is) been weary of binary packages. I haven't checked, but would expect those patches to be generic patches and not specific to QCAD. Bitte benutzen Sie diese Forum für alle Fragen bezüglich der QCAD Community Edition (Open Source) Moderators: andrew, Husky. Regarding custom patching: Their Changelog (mentioned in ) lists which patches are applied to QT for which versions. Please try my ebuild and QT version 5.9.2. I have posted a screenshot in the forum above. I have compiled QCAD and QT from sources and I don't seem to have the same issue. > they kind of recommend against building against default Qt. I probably should have filled in DEPEND more thoroughly too. Qcad comunity edition install#I remember trying back when I wrote this originally and I've just tried it again to confirm, "make install" doesn't actually install anything except the README file, hence the collection of doins lines. The official build instructions are here: and curiously omit a "make install" step and recommend just running from the source directory. Maybe it will work for tarball releases too. A small wrapper script to go in /usr/bin for launching due to LD_LIBRARY_PATH weirdness is included. I wrote it back in September and it's been working well enough for me since then. This is the world's quickest and dirtiest git ebuild so apologies in advance but it might give someone somewhere to start from. Improved ebuilds with LINGUAS, DEPEND, 3.4.6 & 9999 versions ![]()
